No 594: How To Pack Like a French Woman

Wednesday, July 14, 2010

I adore this tutorial by Joanna of A Cup of Jo about how to pack like a French woman (and it's a great way to celebrate Bastille day!) I've taken her advice and the wisdom of our stylish sisters across the Atlantic to heart, and filled my suitcase with striped t's, black cropped pants, simple flats and lacy lingerie. I even tucked a copy of Anaïs Nin's Henry and June into my carry-on and filled the iPod with Carla Bruni, Edith Piaf and lots of French opera; let's hope I haven't forgotten anything!

I'll miss you all, and can't wait to see what you've been up to when I get back!

  1. I loved that post also! So fun and romantic! But what French thing isn't, right? That's why I adore your blog so much.

  2. I adore Henry & June! John used to read me Henry's love letters over the phone when we were long distance. Aside from the fact they were having an affair (minor detail, right?) it's terribly romantic... Safe travels love!
