I know watermelon is a popular 4th of July treat, but I much prefer berries, plucked from bushes in the yard and still warm from the sun. The first dessert, decorated with those charming flags, features a little angel food cake and freshly whipped cream, along with your favorite berries (raspberries and blueberries are delicious, and sliced strawberries would be perfect, too). They were designed by Posh Paperie for Style Me Pretty, and photographed by Jackie Wonders. The second photo, a Martha Stewart creation, features vanilla-raspberry sundaes with spoon-shaped cookies; all you need is a few containers of store-bought ice cream!So, what's your favorite summertime sweet?
