No 524: the Gold Standard

I just adore this cake, featured on Martha Stewart Weddings. Edible gold dust was brushed into leaves piped from royal icing, imparting the appearance of golden laurel branches and making for one sensational presentation.

  1. Gorgeous!! I really should pick up a Martha Stewart Weddings, I never do anymore now that I am married, but really I'm missing so many beautiful things in there! I used to freak out every time I spotted a new issue.
