No 364: Real Wedding: Emily and Nathan

I absolutely adore this wedding, photographed by Leigh Miller. It was held at the Annandale Golf Club in Pasadena, and was inspired by the groom's father's suggestion that the gentlemen should wear white dinner jackets. The bride, Emily, described the wedding as, "elegant, romantic and old-fashioned", and the vintage perspective is absolutely divine.

You'd never guess this bride was on a tight budget, so while the clouds of baby's breath are possibly the most fabulous use of flowers I've seen at a wedding, they were also economical. Emily tried on her Melissa Sweet gown at a trunk show, but ended up purchasing it from Craigslist, once worn; I love that she didn't sacrifice style for cost, and found a creative way to add the elements that mattered most to her wedding. And that cake! The whole event was just gorgeous.
