Maybe it's because the groom, in his three-piece suit, reminds me of my sweetheart. Maybe it's the drop-dead gorgeous venue: the ceremony set between two large oak trees with the sun setting warmly behind them and a barn full of your nearest and dearest. Or perhaps it's the Dora, which is always going to do something magical to my heart.Brit and Daniel's wedding, photographed by Carl Zoch, first featured on Ruffled, has been blazing across the blogs and I've been sitting on my hands waiting to show it to you; As No 299 it obviously has a very special place in my heart. These two San Francisco-based designers were married at Brit's childhood farm, and their RSVP cards included a request for recipes which the newlyweds eagerly added to their burgeoning cookbook collection. The entire reception was catered by guests; everyone brought their best dish! Plus, these two had pie after pie, just like I plan to serve for Thanksgiving. Not only was this a beautiful event, it celebrated the love between two incredible people.
